In 1990 Scotty Robertson accidentally discovered a new way to grip the golf club that would change his life forever. As he turned his top hand upside down out of frustration and swung at a ball a whole new world opened up. Like finding a key to a secret room Robertson stepped into a dream-like status of improvement in his game. It boggled the mind and tickled the senses. It also gathered him galleries. He insulted haughty old-school golfers and excited the average golf community. He became an evangelist of hope without ever trying. Today there are more than 10,000 converts worldwide with unparalleled results.
One celebrity nicknamed Scotty the 'Dick Fosbury of golf'. Fosbury discovered a style of high jumping leading with shoulders over the bar which enabled him to jump higher than everyone else. The public laughed at him and his own coach in college even succumbed to peer-pressure advising him to abandon his style. Dick listened for a time but went back to his unusual style and won the gold medal in 1968. Now the 'Fosbury Flop' is the standard technique of high jumping.
For the first five years or so Robertson experienced similar opposition. Time has passed and his method is more widely accepted.
There's no arguing with results.
