Training
In football, baseball, basketball, tennis, soccer and many other sports each athlete prepares or trains before attempting their challenge. Then there’s golf, one of the most challenging sports ever played, and hardly anyone trains except for the ones who get paid. The professionals of this sport make the time to train because their livelihood depends on it, plus the technique they are using requires a certain amount of natural talent and that only goes so far.
We strongly believe in training before lessons.
New students learn exercises that train their body and mind to understand and feel the correct swing plane and positions. Once a student completely understands their body, hand and arm position through the swing, they then begin with a few simple training methods. Once proficient with the exercises, generally after only a week or two, they are ready to move on to lessons.
The golf swing is found at the end of training.
Sure some students acclimate much quicker than others and are hitting balls with miracle like results after only an hour, but everyone is different. I can only work with what you have to offer. This technique is the closest thing to ‘one size fits all’ but, I still have to work with what you bring to the table. |
